    Saltash Community School is seeking to appoint a 0.8 FTE, permanent, Computing Teacher for September 2024. We are looking for a passionate and driven teacher to strengthen our dedicated science team. You will share our commitment to excellence and our desire to achieve the very best outcomes for our students.
  • Senior Learning Support Assistant

    Saltash Community School

    We are looking for an empathetic, motivated, organised individual who is committed to developing excellent relationships with young people. The mainstream school role requires you to help plan and implement high quality provision across the school as a key member of the SEND leadership team. Working with students and with other Learning Support Assistants. The ARB role requires you to support learning and work with the class teacher and other staff to foster effective learning for students with special educational needs or disabilities. We encourage applications from individuals who are looking to change career and have transferable skills, as well as those with prior experience supporting young people in the classroom. You may well have an interest in developing your own practice/experience as an education professional.
  • Cover Supervisor

    Saltash Community School

    Saltash Community School is looking to recruit 2 talented and enthusiastic professionals to our Cover Supervisor team. You will provide effective cover supervision in a range of classes and subjects in response to unforeseen short-term teacher and teaching assistant absence, ensuring good order is maintained in the classroom, providing instruction on pre-set activities, responding to questions and keeping students on task. Teaching experience is not required, however the ability to supervise and manage young people in a classroom environment is essential. You may currently by employed as a cover supervisor or may be wishing to change careers and feel that you have the skills to allow you to take on this exciting role.
